Welcome, agents of the Black Cabinet !
Three hundred years ago, Françoise Athénaïs de Rochechouart, marquise de Montespan, was the unmissable favourite of Louis XIV. She marked the court through her artistic patronage and played an influential role in the cultural radiance of the reign of the Sun King. An avid collector, she had a unique piece: an artifact set with a legendary stone.
Lost in the meanders of time, this treasure would have disappeared after her fall into disgrace. It fed fantasies and desires but no one ever could find its location...
Your mission :
Today, the Black Cabinet, responsible for protecting the darkest secrets in history, entrusts you with the mission to find this legendary coin:
“You are one of our agents and the team sent before you has disappeared because of a traitor.
It’s up to you to take over their investigation! Identify the missing team members, follow the clues left by Camille Blanchett in any order you choose, unravel the mysteries surrounding this case to unmask the culprit and find the artifact.”
What will happen during your investigation :
Duration: 1 hour and 30
Location: In Versailles, in your meeting/reception room (or place of your choice)
Beginning: Introduction to the history of Versailles and the rise and fall of the Marquise de Montespan.
Launch of the game: Distribution of playbooks, explanation of your mission and making of the teams (ideally 5 to 7 people)
